What you write does not need to be longer than the example. What you write needs to correlate to WTS 1 & 2 document. Below are assignment guidelines:
BEFORE / AFTER PRESENTATION
Prepare a 4-7 minute demonstration via DVD/iMovie excerpts, YouTube, etc. to show evidence of before-after instructional improvement relative to Wisconsin Teacher Standards 1 and 2 (SLO 3, 4, 5). In essence, your short presentation will summarize the contents of your portfolio entry for WTS 1 and 2. (Upload your video or provide the link to your video within the appropriate discussion board forum by the due date.)
WTS #1 – Teachers know the subjects they are teaching.
The teacher understands the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structures of the disciplines she or he teaches and can create learning experiences that make these aspects of subject matter meaningful for pupils.
WTS #2Teachers know how children grow.
The teacher understands how children with broad ranges of ability learn and provides instruction that supports their intellectual, social, and personal development.

Do not worry if you create a video that is longer than 4 minutes. You will not be penalized unless it runs over 10 minutes.
